We are a community-based gardening project developed in cooperation with Leon County to promote all the good things a garden represents. We host member workdays and community events a number of times each year and these are great ways to learn more about this ongoing project by meeting the people that make it happen.
Upcoming Events Garden Meetup - Saturday, May 12, 2012, beginning at 9:00 AM, come by and visit with your garden neighbors and share what is working for you and what isn't. We will have a brief discussion of good bugs vs. bad bugs and some things you can do to help your vegetables not become the next item on some insect's buffet. Be sure to peek in on the mocking bird nest in the greenhouse, right side of the entrance on the upper shelf, last weekend there were 4 eggs and an upset mom flitting about!
